This weekly
Certified Farmers' Market is held on the east side of Park Plaza Drive
between Towne Center Drive and Park Plaza West, just south of Cerritos'
Towne Center Shopping Center (and just north of the Performing Arts Center),
featuring fresh fruits (including some organic), vegetables (including
many Asian and some organic), cut flowers, eggs (including Filipino delicacies
such as "Balut"), nuts (including candy-covered gourmet almonds and pecans,
and roasted peanuts), honey, herbs, sprouts, plants (including herbs, vegies,
bonsai, orchids and succulents), Asian specialty mushrooms, fruit juices,
seafood, bakeries, pita bread, hummus and tabouli salads, various popcorns,
Filipino treat specialties (such as "Sapin-Sapin" and "Putos"), granola,
hot and frozen tamales, hot sausages, hot dogs, hot fresh-roasted corn-on-the-cob,
cool drinks, and street musicians.
Plenty
of free convenient parking.
