Since the beginning of August
'06, David has been chipping the gathered piles of regular seasonal orchard
prunings and bringing them to market for those who enjoy adding the delights
of wood-smoke to their barbeques. The chips are of course CERTIFIED ORGANIC,
being from ORGANIC apple trees averaging 10 years of age, dried over a
couple of months, sold in 3-lb mesh bags, and available year-round (though
we add the caution that sometimes these sell out on a sunday!). Barbequeing
is not just for meats and fish of course, but also for many many vegies
and even some fruits!
