Karmen's Guacamole
Dip recipe
from the Kirsinas family, specialists
in avocados and other orchard crops (now appearing weekly in our Saturday
and Sunday markets):
3
ripe avocados,
1/2 small white onion, chopped,
1 Roma tomato, chopped,
3 green onions, chopped (use
green part),
1/2 bunch cilantro, finely chopped,
1 Tbsp minced garlic,
1 Tbsp sour cream,
1 lemon,
salt and black pepper to taste.
*optional: add up to 1 jalapeño
for heat!
Mash avocados and add the next 6
ingredients in order. Blend. Squeeze in the juice of 1 lemon. Salt/black
pepper to taste. Serve.
